Merry Christmas Everyone!

NASA Does Nikon

NASA just ordered 11 new Nikon D3 bodies as well as several 14-24mm f2.8 lenses. The new gear will be used to document the daily life within the program and on the space station. They join the D2x bodies and a plethora of Nikkor lenses and accessories already in use.

Since I primarily use D3 and D2x bodies with a lineup of all Nikkor lenses, I think I'm in good shape. :-)

Holly & Joseph at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian

I have to send out a HUGE thank you to my good friend and fellow photographer, Richard Middleton, for referring Holly & Joseph to me. They were so much fun to work with!!! Our quirky personalities, love of a good laugh, and appreciation for classic rock matched up perfectly! :-)

Holly & Joseph were married at the gorgeous Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian church. I LOVE shooting here. The ceremony was beautiful, especially with the sanctuary all decorated for the holidays. Their reception was at Alhambra Hall...one of my favorite reception venues. As always, Frankie did a beautiful job with the floral arrangements. And DJ Doug kept the party rockin'.

After watching the Music Video, click here to check out the rest of their wedding photos.

CONGRATULATIONS Holly & Joseph! You guys were AWESOME!!! Keep the flame alive...

Adrienne & Corey at Dunes West

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Adrienne & Corey over the last year. They are such a neat couple and SO photogenic!

Last week they tied the knot at Dunes West. It's such a beautiful venue with a great staff! My good friend and fellow photographer Kate McKinley was shooting with me that day. We had just enough time to photograph Corey and Adrienne's "First Glance" as well as portraits of the two of them around the grounds before the rain came. Hey, that's supposed to be good luck for them, right? :-) Doug Farmer, my favorite officiate in town, united them. Eddie L from ProWedding Entertainment, my favorite DJ in town, rocked the reception. And Corey's Mom made the cake!!!

Enjoy the slideshow at the bottom of the post. Then Click Here to see the rest of their images. CONGRATULATIONS Adrienne & Corey!!!

The Boone Hall Kids

Photographing Greg & Elizabeth's kids is always such a pleasure. They are so well behaved, love the camera, and actually LISTEN to me! :-) I met up with them at Boone Hall Plantation the other day and we just had a great time...going all over and getting tons of different looks. GOOD LUCK narrowing down your favorites, Elizabeth!!! Hehehe!

Heather & Sam at Trinity United Methodist

Heather & Sam were married Saturday at the historic Trinity United Methodist Church. As a visual artist, I absolutely LOVE military weddings! :-) Heather & Sam's was no exception. They were both so photogenic, easy going, and wonderful to work with. Their reception was held at the Dunes West Club House. These are just a few of my favorites. Click Here to see the rest of their AMAZING story!

CONGRATULATIONS Heather & Sam!!!

Coastal Kids Dental

Last week I had the privilege of photographing Dr. Driggers of Coastal Kids Dental. She was so much fun to work with that I KNOW she does an amazing job with her kids. :-) Here's one of my favorites...LOVE the Dansko shoes!!!

'Tis the Season

I still remember Anne-Magill & Brad's wedding like it was YESTERDAY! When they found out little Merritt was on the way, they signed up for our "Welcome To The World" collection. So I've had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful girl since she was just a part of Mamma's belly! :-) She's now 6-months old. Here are a few of my favorites from their Christmas session on their beautiful property.

Old Friends Become New Again

I photographed Sara & Jordan's wedding about 4 years ago! So it was really fun and exciting to see them again when they asked me to do an updated family portrait. They hadn't changed ONE BIT...still as much fun as I remember!!! :-)

Anna Kournikova, John McEnroe, and Jim Courier

I've known the news for a couple weeks now, but the big announcement was just made official today:

"The Family Circle Cup announces Game, Set, Rock! Tennis. Amplified., an evening of music and tennis entertainment featuring John McEnroe, Jim Courier, Anna Kournikova and a fourth player, to be announced, participating in singles and mixed doubles action, as a new ticketed session beginning at 7:00pm on Saturday, April 17, 2010. This exhibition is designed as the keystone of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Premier Event’s week-long celebration of its 10th year in Charleston, and will supplement a strong player field highlighted by former World No. 1 Maria Sharapova and 18-year-old American standout Melanie Oudin. Marking the tournament’s 38th consecutive year, the Family Circle Cup is scheduled April 10-18, 2010 at the Family Circle Tennis Center in historic Charleston, South Carolina."

Here's a shot of Anna Kournikova I photographed in 2003...on FILM!!! I've been covering the Family Circle Cup waaaay too long. :-)

Joy & Michael on the Carolina Girl

Joy & Michael had an AMAZING wedding celebration last weekend!!! Their day started out at the fabulous Wentworth Mansion...a beautiful and historic place I always love photographing in. They were married on the Carolina Girl Yacht with The Battery as our scenic backdrop. Camille did a fantastic job as usual orchestrating everything. All of Joy & Michael's friends and family were on board to help them celebrate. So the party went on non-stop throughout the evening as Captain Bob and his crew took us on a romantic cruise all over Charleston Harbor.

Click Here to see the rest of their photos. CONGRATULATIONS, Joy & Michael! You guys are an AWESOME couple!!!

ESPN Charleston Classic

"The second annual Charleston Classic is in the books, and Miami has bragging rights. Led by James Dews (22 points) and Dwayne Collins (17), the Hurricanes outlasted South Carolina 85-70 in the championship game. Collins, who also grabbed 15 rebounds, was named MVP of the tournament. Miami outscored the Gamecocks 11-5 in the final 2:25 to clinch the Charleston Classic crown, won by Clemson in the first year."

Here are a few of my shots from the finals as I documented the event for ESPN...
